Delicate architectural interventions to a beautiful 17th century home.

A BEAUTIFUL GLASS STRUCTURE SET IN 20 ACRES BOUNDED BY THE ROLLING RIVER WYE AND A NATURE RESERVE.

Hall + Bednarczyk Architects designed a new leisure facility seamlessly connecting the main house through a series of considered architectural interventions complementing the traditional architecture of the main house. A key feature is the glass pavilion housing the swimming pool, characterised by a striking timber roof supported by a light steel frame. Expansive glazing creates the illusion of a floating roof, while a 27m linear glass skylight intersects the timber structure, forming a stunning visual connection.

Festa was commissioned to design, fabricate, and install the bespoke architectural glazing elements, including structural glass skylights and slim interlock sliders with floor finish threshold. Our turnkey service ensured flawless coordination with the contractor, integrating our systems seamlessly into the fabric of the building.

“Festa put some fantastic glazing into the pool hall and link building for us. It’s wonderful. Thank you.”
